The Medicare rebate for a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) is $96.65 per session. This means you pay a gap of $153.35 per session for 10 sessions in a calendar year.

In setting this fee, the 2025 recommended rates from the Australian Psychological Society (APS – $311) and the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi – $316) have been considered, and we believe this rate reflects a fair and balanced approach.
